Goals and Aims

In early 2009, Niranjana established a sewing training center. Free six-month training courses are held in our dedicated centre, focusing on sewing, craft and basic business skills.

To enable poor, uneducated women to provide for their families, we are teaching them a trade with which to earn a living. In developing new skills and the ability to generate an income,  women also develop a sense of pride and independence. After completion, graduates are encouraged to organise classes in their respective villages, to share the skills they’ve learnt.

Shop online for gifts made by the Niranjana Women's Sewing Centre at The Shop for Change. 100% of our profits are used to fund development of the sewing centre program and Niranjana's school, orphanage and health clinic.
